Three levels of change
We are mindful that we contribute to change rather than cause it, and we aim to be a valued and collaborative partner as we work towards our vision.
For the organisations we fund and partner with: We take a regenerative approach to our funding relationships, providing flexible funding in an open and trusting way.
For the fields in which we work: We are outward-looking, collaborative and willing to take risks. By sharing knowledge and fostering connections, we contribute to improved knowledge, practice and systems.
Feedback has also led us to realise we have an opportunity to contribute to efforts to learn more about effective practice in grant-making and philanthropy.
To guide our thinking – and reflect on how we’re doing – we’ve developed a working theory of change. This tool provides us with a framework for learning, improvement, and assessing our effectiveness.

We will continue to reflect on this through our communications and in our annual reviews.
